Crystal Bridges

I got to go to my very first art museum while I was home. Crystal Bridges, an American Art Museum that was founded by Alice Walton was pretty impressive.

Mom got a membership so all the members could go online and get tickets (which were free) and go in before the grand opening on 11-11-11 and look around. So Mom, Annye, Presley and I went on Wednesday at 11:30 pm. Like I said this was my first time going to an art museum and me being me, I went in my jeans, hoodie and tennis shoes..come on it was 11:30 at night..I was going for comfort not to impress anyone. But of course there were people there that were dressed up really nice and in dresses and suits. While the art was really nice and fun to look at, I enjoyed people watching more :)

Here are some pieces that are in the museum. We didn't walk through the entire museum but enough to see a good portion of it....

They had these really cool little reading areas all around and some places had art books to look at...

Some were just for relaxing...it was pretty neat.

After a while of walking around and holding a sleeping baby, we stopped at this little coffee/smoothie shop they had. I don't recommend the strawberry/creme smoothie...taste like bath salts!

This was a huge room where you could get a glass of wine, food, or a coffee and sit down and and hang out with your group. I love the ceiling..I want it in my house! If only!

These chairs seriously were the most comfortable chairs I have sat on...I know it looks like it would be hard as a board and not very comfy..but it is made out of what felt like mat (like at a gym) material. I liked them!

Kinda blurry, but Mom and I enjoying our time sitting down! And yes that would be the bath salt smoothie! lol.

I would totally have this hallway in my house as well! One side nothing but windows! Yes please! I want to go back during the day and be able to look at all the landscape and the two ponds they have. But I was very impressed with the whole place! Defiantly some place I would like to take my husband sometime.
