Terrific Kid Award and 9 Month Check Up

Kali brought home a note from her teacher earlier in the week saying that she was going to be recognized at school for being a Terrific Kid and was going to get an award. Every month they pick a word and then choose kids that best model that word. For the month of March, the word was "Inquisitive" someone who asks alot of questions....yeah I'd say they hit the nail on the head with that one :)

The award ceremony started at 7:45 AM! That's right people, BEFORE 8 am!

Can you tell some of us weren't fully awake at this time :)

Kali being called to go up front and get her award!

All of the kids who received the Terrific Kid Award. Another cool thing about this was the little boy in the front row, 2nd from left is our neighbor and a good friend of Kali's and he also received an award! Kali didn't know that he was getting one as well, so she was really happy to find that out.

Kali with her award, bumper sticker for the car and pencil! Very proud of her! She is growing up to be quite the little lady! I am so glad that I get to be apart of watching all these neat things happen to her!

After the ceremony Presley said she was hungry so we went to our most favorite place to have breakfast...Hasslers! Every time I walk in there I can hear the theme song of Cheers playing...."I wanna go where everybody knows my name.."

Giving her piggy some lovin before chowin down on a pancake!

After breakfast was time for little sister to get her 9 month check up at Dr. M's!

"Look Mom, I can play in the water!" Not to worry though, it is not real!

We get back to the exam room and what is the first thing she does....tears the hell out of the paper on the table.

Then she decided to EAT the paper....

After being totally destructive on top of the table, I moved her to the floor where she could have the whole room....she decided to play with the stool :)

So looks so tiny like this :)

Well Presley here are your stats....
*you are 15 pounds 15 ounces (13th percentile -- double digits baby!)
*you are 28 inches long (61 percentile)
*your head circumference is 17 1/4 inches (47th percentile)

Your doctor said you look great, you are growing just like you should and developmentally you are wonderful!
