This week Kali had her first Basketball Camp that was put on by the Norman Parks and Rec. She was a little confused when we went to leave the first morning and she wasn't taking any clothes or anything. She thought since it was called "camp" she was staying. Sorry kid, you just had to wake up at 7:30 on your summer vacation to go to basketball practice for 4 hours pretty much. But she enjoyed it. A lot of the girls she plays with during season were there so she felt better when she walked in and recognized some kids.

Listened to their coaches give them some drills to practice at home...
And then at the end of each day they had a huge team huddle.
When I asked if she would want to do it again she said only if it could start later in the day. We were not a fan of having to get up early and go to bed early when she didn't have school. But on the last day, the coaches handed out t-shirts so that made up for it all!
