At Kali's school they had "Goodies for Grandparents" that she guilted Nanny and Papa into coming to, ha ha. But it was a good guilt trip cause it got them to visit! They took her to school at got to eat a little something (pastries and orange juice) with her before school started.
As soon as Nanny and Papa got here, we were outside enjoying the WONDERFUL weather.
Kali was showing all of us her hula hoop skills
go Kali go
Presley wasn't to sure about this whole "someone else holding me other than my mommy " thing. Poor Nanny, she was just trying to get some lovin in
and then she had enough of Papa too...poor grandparents :( She really does love you two, I promise :)
Papa and I loaded up the girls and headed out to the fields to watch Kali's soccer practice..she wants to sit up like a big girl so bad.
This is her "please take me out of here" look
lining up her ball to kick a goal
coaching her sister on what she should be doing
I think she gave up when she realized Kali couldn't hear her talking to her
water break...can you tell she was worn out?
Kelly was able to make it in time to watch most of her practice...she loves it when he can be there to cheer her on.
Saturday morning we woke up bright and early and took Kali to her first birthday party of the school year. She went to the roller skate rink (which is now of course where she wants her birthday party at) and had a blast. After the party we were off to her first soccer game of the season......
Kali's cheer section...we roll deep!
Daddy having a little chat with Presley before the game starts
She was the cutest little soccer player out there
Takin a water break....
And then she was right back out there! She scored the first goal of the game!
We lost our first game but she had a blast watching her big sister rule the field!
After soccer Kali had her first basketball practice/get together of the season and then we headed out to dinner with Nate and Elizabeth. We went to a yummy little place in downtown Norman.
