Sleepy Baby
I always look at these pics and just love them because she always looks so peaceful when she sleeps.
Meeting Grandpa
Now that I have a working computer and am able to get my pictures off my phone, I have some that I wanted to blog about because they are pretty important to me.
For those of you who don't know, my Dad wasn't able to be at the hospital when Presley was born because he lives in China. He has been over there for a few years now and as much as we would LOVE him home with us, we have come to accept that this is only a temporary job and soon he will be back home, working in the states. Of course with any situation there is a good side to it...getting to vacation in some pretty cool places. Sad part for me, I have yet to attend any of these family trips..lol. But hopefully one day it will work out.

I brought Presley home (Rogers, AR) the end of July because Dad was making his summer trip home then. She was 3 weeks old. This was the first time they met one another. I love this picture :) Crazy to think that the next time he sees her (in person at Christmas) she will be crawling all over the place. Of course we have our skype dates because it just wouldn't be fair to either of them to only see one another twice a year...and she loves talking to him on skype. So Dad feel free to go ahead and retire and come home, k!

Blowing Bubbles
Presley is almost 3 months old and her newest thing that she is so proud of is blowing spit bubbles!
She will do it for about 30 mins non stop and if you start doing it to her, she will laugh and do it back. Kinda a gross little game, but whatever! lol
This is what happens when she get really going....the spit bubbles turn into a lot of drool :)
check out the hair we are starting to get. I am loving the curls!

Pretty Pirates
Last weekend (Sept 24th) Kali had a soccer game...by far her BEST GAME yet. They finally came up with a team name, The Pretty Pirates! On our way out the door to head to the fields Kali noticed that water was leaking through the cracks of the driveway by the street. Kelly called the city and landlord and told them about it and told them we were heading out for about an hour and would be back home soon. By the time Kelly had came in the house, made the phone call and we loaded up in the van to head out (which was probably 10 mins tops) the little leak turned into 4 small fountains! Lovely! So we went to the game.........
Check out the bandannas!
Playing hard defense
She was all over the field like she owned the place! I hope she sticks with soccer because she really has a talent for it.
She isn't afraid to get in there and get the ball
doesn't she kinda look like a little old maid! lol. She was waiting for the other team to throw the ball in.
The Pretty Pirates WON! Kali (#8) scored 4 goals! She was awesome out there! Now I know she is my kid, but I do have to say that she is one of the best players on that team. Kelly, I and Presley have a blast watching her play :)
When we got home the four small fountains were still pumping pretty good and the city was there shortly after
what a mess!
Breaking up the concrete to put a clamp on the pipe.
My good ol' watch dog making sure the guys stayed at the end of the driveway and not ANY closer! If you know her, you know the worse thing she would do to them is bug them to death until someone gave her some attention.
when I looked out side and saw this...I thought, "stop starring at the whole and fix it!" come to find out there is a second guy IN the whole putting the clamp on. Kinda tells ya how much I was enjoying not having water, lol.
Once they put the clamp on, they put dirt over whole and said they would be back during the next week to fix the part of the driveway they had to bust up to get to the line....well this happened on sat and today it is the following Friday and my driveway still isn't fixed. So we continue to wait!

Weekend of Fun
Now that I have a working computer, I can catch ya'll up on what has been going on.....
Couple weeks ago (weekend of Sept 16th) Kali had been complaining of her right heal bothering her. Occasionally she would limp around but majority of the time she would walk just fine, play outside with Adam, play sports and would be ok. So Kelly and I kinda just blew it off because you would think if something was majorly wrong "fun activities" would hurt too. So just to be on the safe side, I took her to the doctor and she said a week of strict rest and x-rays (just to make sure!) I was ok with that, so after the doctor office we went over to the Healthplex and got xrays. It took us longer to wait than it did to actually have the x-rays taken. While we were waiting Grandma and Aunt Annye were on their way down to visit for the weekend. Got the x-rays done and were told that we would get results on Monday!

Grandma has arrived!!!!!
Aunt Annye really wasn't digging the denim overalls. I thought they were cute, but she told me that we were going to have to go shopping for pants and BURN those...lol. I think little girls in overalls are the cutest...it is like little boys in Polo's and khakis :)
Playing a little Peek-A-Boo
And of course we have to do some of our cheers!!
Aunt Annye found this neck pillow at TJMaxx and thought you needed it for all your world travels...and when I say world travels, I mean going back and forth from Oklahoma to Arkansas!
Of course we had to play around with it :)
Girl you know how to rock the neck pillow!!!
Then after all the fun of the neck pillow, it was bedtime!
Saturday morning we skyped with Aunt Laddie (from Italy) for a little bit.
Presley LOVES to skype with people. I don't know what she likes more, the fact that someone is talking to her, she can see them on the screen or she sees herself.
Later that afternoon Kali had a soccer game, and I am ashamed to say I forgot my camera at home :( But mom got the entire game on video so I don't feel sooo bad. She played AWESOME. Scored some goals and her team WON. They still don't have a name yet, but they are so much fun to watch. But before we left for the game Dad and Presley had to catch a little football on tv!
That night Kelly went out with some friends to watch a boxing match (not my cup of tea at all) and all us girls stayed at the house to have a nice and quiet evening.
Mom and Kali played a little "Life"
Aunt Annye played around on the computer
And Presley cat napped..pretty exciting huh!
Then the game was over and we were UP!
getting some sugars from Aunt Annye
Of course we had to give a shout out to Aunt Laddie and let her know we were thinking about her :)
And then it was bedtime :)
Sunday Grandma and Aunt Annye left to go back to Rogers and we just hung around the house. Visits with family is never long enough.
Monday we found out that Kali's x-rays came back all normal...no breaks, or hairline fractures or anything, so that is good. And she is back to her normal self running and playing and having a blast!
